Ed Trotter - Principal
He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata! He tangata! He tangata! —
(What is the most important thing in the world? Tis people! Tis people! Tis people!)
I was born in Upper Hutt and have been teaching for 20 years. I live in the Eastern Suburbs with my wife Jenny and three children (Josh 20, Ben 19 and Abi 17). We have two springer spaniel dogs (Camo and Jazz) which you may see me walking most evenings. I love the great outdoors, especially fishing, diving, hunting; all sports and like to keep fit with swimming, running and cycling.
Teaching and learning is my core business and passion. I want to ensure children at Miramar Central know how to learn, are passionate and engaged life-long learners, confident in themselves, have a positive self-esteem, and are well prepared for the life ahead of them.
