Welcome to music at Miramar Central School!
At MCS we aim to provide a rich variety of musical opportunities for all students. There is a drum group, choir and a rock band. There are also itinerant music lessons available.
We partner with the Wellington Musicians Network to provide itinerant music lessons for students in guitar, drums, ukulele, piano, violin, vocals, horn, flute, trumpet, saxophone and recorder.
We aim to make these lessons as accessible as possible to all families by offering a variety of groups sizes and costs.
At MCS we believe it is important to share the talents of our students. Opportunities are provided to perform at the end of year showcase, school events, our annual talent quest, productions or group at assemblies and kapa haka.
