Kia ora e te whanau,
I trust you are all enjoying the last of the school holidays
Just a couple of things to note coming up:
1. Room 11 and 12 (new build) 'opening/blessing' is all set for 9.30 am this Friday (27 Jan) over in Room 11/12. This will be followed by morning tea in the Library - everyone is welcome. I know this has been a long journey for everyone and we can't wait to share the new spaces with you all.
Open afternoon - all our classrooms will be open and the teachers present to help ease the first day jitters - Tuesday 31st Jan from 1-3pm.
3. School officially begins the following day on Wednesday 1st February at 9am, we are looking forward to seeing everyone.
4. Office Max has been struck with "Covid" so unfortunately they will not be delivering to school before we open. I will set up a stationery list in the office for you to add your name, your child's name and classroom. If you pay online into the school account we can drop the stationery pack into the classroom to make it easier. School bank account is ASB 12-3481-0042642-00 please reference your child's name and classroom
Waitangi Day is on Monday 6th February so school will be closed.
'Meet the Teacher Whanau night' has just been booked for Thursday 9th February. We welcome you all into the hall for an initial introduction at 5pm followed by the opening of the classrooms and team talks. In Room 11/12 the Pohutukawa team at 5.20pm. In Room 4 the Totara team at 5.40pm. In Room 3 the Kauri team from 6pm. Followed by a time for Q&A, we should be all done by around 6.30pm.
